City Council reiterates snow policy
GARRISON — A proposed amendment to the City of Garrison’s snow and ice removal ordinance could lead to changes in protocol in moving vehicles off city streets following snowstorms.
Currently, the ordinance stipulates that vehicles must be removed from streets when there are two inches of snow on the ground. This is done to allow snow removal equipment to operate more efficiently.
“It’s gotta be a pain in the ass for you guys, having to move around all these vehicles,” said council member Dave Jeffrey, who originally suggested looking at the city’s policy
