Coffee house to open this summer

Jessica Galloway and Marquise Hudgen are about to embark on a job change that started over coffee.
As trained baristas – or a fancy name for coffee bartenders – the two know the fine art of making a good cup of java.
Galloway, 46, and originally from Colorado, and Hudgen, 26, a native of Garrison, are opening Coffee & Company next to the laundromat on Hwy. 37. They said they hope to open mid-June.
The building is being remodeled into a farmhouse, rustic style that they hope will welcome the public to come in to have a beverage and stay a while, they said.
