Curfew gets OK

The first step to adopting a curfew for the City of Garrison has been taken.
At Monday’s meeting of the Garrison City Council, members heard a first reading of the proposed ordinance. Looking over what is planned, city officials noted the wording is similar to other curfews in neighboring communities. “Looks like they all used the same one,” said Mayor Shannon Jeffers, looking over the ordinance.
Council members support the move to establishing a curfew for Garrison.
“I like this, I really do,” Alderman Chad Betz said, noting that he’s heard very little opposition to its adoption.
