Dancing under evening sun
More than 500 dancers could be seen, and 22 drums heard, at the Arikara Celebration in White Shield last weekend. Tribal Councilman Fred Fox said that they had a fantastic turnout this year with people coming from 15 states and three provinces. He said the weather cooperated well and is looking forward to next year’s celebration.
