Diamond Double O offers more than just feed
“Opening a feed store in rural North Dakota, at any point in my life was not on my Bingo card for 2025,” Diamond Double O owner Lauren Ohlgren said. “However, this business seemed to align with my personal interests, personal needs, and the community’s needs.”
Ohlgren is new to the agricultural business so there’s a lot to learn, but she says she’s not new to shopping, especially for horses or dogs.
“I had to build something from the ground up since I didn’t know of any other opportunities to own and operate an existing business,” she said. “It was either this or I get behind the wheel of our semi-truck.”
Ohlgren has numerous ideas she wants to incorporate into the business to further serve the local and equestrian communities, but she must be patient to bring those ideas to fruition.
