After a stint in eastern North Dakota, Bree Diffley is back home.
The Garrison native, who graduated high school as a Trooper in 2016, is back in town and set to head the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Diffley was officially hired as the new CVB executive director this month and is on deck to replace Mikaila Behles, who left the post earlier this year.
Mike Matteson advised members of the Garrison Chamber of Diffley’s hiring during Monday’s meeting.
“She will be an excellent candidate and I ask everyone gives her their full support,” Matteson said.
Diffley, who spent her youth working in Garrison and volunteering with the Dickens Festival and other local events, is excited to be back home after living and attending college in Fargo for the past four years.
She is currently completing her graduate degree in agribusiness and applied economics.
Diffley is set to take over the position in late April or early May and said she’s looking forward to promote the events that are near and dear to her.
