Ambulance, athletic fundraiser Friday

The sounds at Garrison High School’s Roy Schei Gym is usually filled with screeches of athletic shoes skidding across the hard wood.
Friday, those screeches will be replaced by the clippity clop of padded donkey hooves.
The Garrison-Max Ambulance District is sponsoring Donkey Basketball. The evening features four teams and consists of three games.
Representative teams are the Garrison-Max Ambulance Service, Max Fire Department, Garrison Fire Department and Garrison schools.
"This will be fun," said ambulance board member Sandy Nelson.
Proceeds from the evening will be split between the ambulance service for upgrading the ambulance fleet and Garrison Athletic Association for the recently completed football complex.
Tickets are available at the N.D. Firefighter’s Museum, Garrison Ambulance Barn and Garrison High School.
