Douglas man's case dismissed in Cavalier County
Three felony charges filed against a Douglas man have been dismissed.
On August 18, District Judge Kari M. Agotness signed court documents dismissing one class A Felony and two class B Felonies against Lewis Antone Bauer.
Bauer currently resides in Douglas.
“The charges were dismissed without prejudice,” the document stated.
Bauer, born in 1955, who was being represented by attorney Challis Dern Williams, was originally charged with conspiracy to commit theft – take- exceed $50,000; engaging in fraudulent practices- untrue statement of material fact and engaging in fraudulent practices- employ device, scheme or artifice to defraud.
