Ownership of the softball/baseball diamond complex northwest of Garrison appears to be up in the air.
In his report to council members Monday night, Garrison city attorney Jim Wilson shared that the Garrison Park Board has tentatively agreed to take over the lease that’s currently between the Garrison Softball Association and Garrison Airport Authority. The lease involves the use of the two fields.
Looking over the document, Wilson said it is a complex issue, and he would be reviewing the agreement more thoroughly in the coming weeks.
