Five veterans receive Quilts of Valor
Five local veterans who lives were touched by war were awarded Quilts of Valor by the Q.O.V. Missouri River Chapter on October 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Bob Kastner- Vietnam
Jessica Kastner- Operation Enduring Freedom.
Terrance Geyer- Vietnam
Victor Privratsky- Vietnam
Ray Iverson- Vietnam, Cold War, Gulf War
Quilts of Valor was founded in 2003 and its mission is to cover service members and veterans with comfort and healing. The quilt says, “Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.”
