Former ND Game and Fish director charged with felony
The Morton County Sheriff’s Department charged a former North Dakota Game and Fish director with gross sexual imposition. Terry Steinwand, 71, of Mandan, on Sept. 8, was charged with gross sexual imposition-sexual act with a victim under 15 with the defendant at least 22.
Steinwand, who is being represented by retained Attorney Lloyd Clayton Suhr, grew up in Garrison and graduated from Garrison High School in 1971 before moving to the Bismarck area.
He was employed at the North Dakota Game and Fish Department for almost 40 years, including 15 years as director.
