Fundraising close for fire department radios

GARRISON — Fundraising efforts for the Garrison Fire Department’s radio project are getting closer and closer to completion.
“We probably still have $25,000 and change to pay for yet,” explained Garrison Fire Department secretary/treasurer Chad Betz at the department’s annual meeting held at the fire hall on Jan. 24.
A big boost came recently in the form of a $93,000 SIRN grant.
