Garrison goin' Irish
Cabin fever event tries Celtic theme
By ALYSSA ADAM
This year’s Cabin Fever event is going to the Irish, lucky coins and leprechauns included. "I-Rish I was somewhere warm" kicks off March 17 at 11:30 a.m. and the fun doesn’t stop until 2 p.m.
Participating businesses will have staff decked out in their Irish duds and offer Irish themed foods and drinks. These businesses are giving the community the chance to get lucky and score some deals with promotions and sales.
Garrison Convention and Visitors Bureau Director McKaila Matteson is optimistic about this year’s theme. Last year the theme was "Winter, you’re Jamaican me crazy."
