Garrison youth killed in motor vehicle accident

A 19-year-old Garrison youth died as a result of injuries sustained during an auto accident early Sunday morning near Turtle Lake.
Cole Kuschel was the driver of a 1997 Ford F-250 that veered off a road and overturned into the McClusky Canal at about 2:45 a.m.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the Ford was eastbound on the north side of the canal road when it began to fishtail. The pickup entered the canal embankment and overturned, coming to rest in the canal partially submerged.
