Play tickets available Monday

With the turn of the calendar page to November, it’s obvious that the 2010 Dickens Village Festival is rapidly approaching. Its arrival, just a few short weeks away, was evident during Monday’s Garrison Chamber of Commerce meeting.
While the festival won’t officially begin until the day after Thanksgiving, tickets for this year’s theatrical performance, “Tiny Tim’s Christmas,” go on sale at 9 a.m., Monday.
Hilary Nelson, CVB director, said the public has several options for ticket purchases. While tickets can be reserved by phone or in person, she said the public is encouraged to exercise a new option – purchasing tickets on-line at www.dickensfestival.com .
Those who prefer to purchase tickets by phone can do so by calling 701-463-2345 or toll-free at 800-799-4242. Those who elect to purchase tickets in person can do so at the N.D. Firefighter’s Museum on Garrison’s Main Street.
While a variety of other entertainment will be offered during the festival, advance tickets will not be required.
