Gifts from the Heart distribution Saturday

Volunteers will be packing baskets for Gifts from the Heart beginning at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garrison Saturday.
Rev. Dick Hendrickson, who coordinates the program with wife, Sue, told Garrison Chamber of Commerce members at their meeting Monday persons interested in assisting should come to the church at 9 a.m.
"We can always use help," he said.
About 75 boxes will be filled. Distribution is from noon - 3 p.m.
Those who have received letters concerning the food distribution should come to the church beginning at noon to pick up their food baskets. Baskets will be delivered to recipients who are unable to come to the church to pick up their packages. Persons who cannot pick up their food baskets should contact Hendrickson to make further arrangements.
Anyone who would like a box but did not receive a letter should contact the Hendricksons at 463-2064.
