Housing shortage debated once again
Garrison City Council had its monthly meeting Monday, November 6 with a crowd of visitors in attendance.
“We are here tonight to ask you to reconsider allowing us to buy the manufactured home in the trailer court,” GAIA member Mike Matteson asked. “We are trying to bring in workers from other countries on a visa program and they don’t have any means to buy a home, they don’t come with a lot of goods... I would ask you to reconsider allowing us to purchase the manufactured home and use it for essential service housing.”
