ROSEGLEN — A Roseglen woman has been charged with two counts of endangering by fire or explosion after she admitted to setting her house on fire earlier this month.
Stacy Ann Pederson, 60, will have a preliminary hearing on Feb. 15 following her actions which placed her husband and son, as well as two McLean County deputies “in danger of death under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life,” an affidavit signed by McLean County Sheriff’s Detective Aaron Matties said.
The incident occurred on Jan. 4 when Sgt. Cody Meadows responded to a house fire on a rural northeastern Roseglen Township farmstead, located east of Roseglen on Highway 37 (23rd Street NW).
