Lady Troopers take 2nd and 3rd

The girls track team tied for second place with 75 points at the Underwood Meet on Thursday. Des Lacs/Burlington took first place overall with 91.5 points.
Kaitlyn Klein took first place in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dash. She also took second place in the 110 meter hurdles.
Kaitlyn Kein, along with Mia Gehring, Kaitlyn Zook and Sarah Lagge took first place in the 4x100 meter relay.
Lagge had a successful meet also. As well as first the 4x100, she took fourth in the long jump, sixth in the triple jump and sixth in the 4x400 meter relay with Zook, Gehring and Karli Klein.
Karli Klein took first place in the 300 meter hurdles and second in the 110 meter hurdles.
Haley Huesers did what she does best. She took second in the discus and sixth in the shot put.
Sprinter Illise Jennings took third place in the 200 meter dash and tenth in the 100 meter dash.
Summers Foss came in ninth place in the 100 meter hurdles.
The boys team took eighth place overall with 35 points. New Town took home first place.
Gage Yellowbird qualified for state by taking first place in the 110 meter hurdles and fourth in the 300 meter hurdles.
