Max bank to close

Come Friday, Oct 28, the community of Max will no longer have a banking institution.
According to media representative Kristen Braun of Bremer, the company decided to close the Max branch, along with Gilby and Fischer, Minn., after strategic operation evaluations.
Braun said customers will be notified and encouraged to use other options such as online banking and other local branches to continue banking with Bremer.
