Max water mix up
Last week, Max City Auditor Anita Porter had to send out a notifications about the level of chlorine/chloramine in the Max drinking water, even though it was really a non-issue.
“The issue was human error,” Max Mayor Sam Adams said. “It has been taken care of.”
It was nothing but a big misunderstanding.
“The guys read the meters, and those numbers get sent to the health department every month,” Porter said. “They don’t get flagged, so everything is fine.”
