Missing person alert has tragic outcome

By STU MERRY

A report of a missing person who was last seen March 5 at the Roseglen Bar turned tragic this past weekend when the body of Robin Fox was found about a half mile from the tiny community in western McLean County.

Details are sketchy as to what actually took place. Posts on Facebook began appearing this past weekend – three days after Fox’s disappearance. The post said Fox, 38, was last seen at the Roseglen Bar. Her car was found at the bar with the driver’s door open and dome light on. The keys were in the ignition. A large sum of money was in the vehicle, and Fox’s cell phone was still in her car. "She has not been seen or heard from since" the post said.

Family members said the car was not disabled as it started the following day.

A phone number was listed for people to call with any information. That number was for Lissa Yellow Bird Chase of Fargo.

Yellow Bird Chase was contacted by family members of Fox who live in Seattle to coordinate a search as they were reportedly unsatisfied at how Tribal authorities were handling the situation. Fox is a Washington State native. Yellow Bird Chase is familiar with the reservation. She’s spearheaded search efforts for missing Riverdale resident Ron Johnson.
