Park board to apply for Sales & Use funds for softball field
GARRISON — In order to start renovations on their softball field complex, the Garrison Parks and Recreation board will apply for $105,000 in funds from the city of Garrison’s Sales and Use Tax fund.
At their meeting on May 24, the Parks and Rec board learned that Garrison Public School will donate $20,000 and take on refurbishing the complex building, which contains the concession stand and bathrooms.
