Professional photographer to have Garrison studio
By JILL DENNING GACKLE
Diana Bertrand is still unpacking boxes after moving to Garrison in July. The family car sits outside waiting for a remodeling project to be completed.
But it didn’t stopped her from diving into the community, first through becoming involved in organizations and next by setting up a business space across from the Garrison post office. Her photography studio, Diana Bertrand Photography, is set to open in April with an open house in May.
Diana and her husband moved here for Brian to take a job as a plant mechanic at the Garrison Dam. North Dakota was familiar to them since the couple lived in Grand Forks for three years while Brian served in the Air Force and Diana received her undergraduate degree in psychology.
Next stop was Denver for three years where she met her best friend who lives in Mandan. After Denver it was Missouri again for four years until moving to North Dakota.
