Proposed bills may lead to reduced library inventory

GARRISON — Libraries have the potential to lose a lot of their catalog if recently-introduced bills gain momentum.
Senate Bill 2123 calls for an amendment to North Dakota Century Code relating to “displaying objectionable materials or performance to minors,” including books, magazines or other material “willfully displayed at newsstands or any other business establishment frequented by minors, or where minors are or may be invited as a part of the general public.”
