Rhubarb was on the menu and flying off the shelves

The Lamplighter Senior Center was packed on Saturday morning for the annual Rhubarb Festival. Gertie Schreiner said it was crazy all day long as she was cashing people out. The crew refilling the rhubarb desserts could barely keep up putting the tasty treats out. Many items sold out early in the day. Dennis Ness said he had to put aside at least half of the pies and kuchens for pre-orders.
