Malanowski visits all 50 states

Stevie Malanowski from Elyia, Ohio, was bit by the travel bug while attending college at the University of Ohio at Dayton and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
Her family didn’t travel often while she was young, but she started taking weekend road trips with friends that sparked her love for travel.
“In the summer of 2001, during summer break from school, my best friend and I took a five-and-a-half-week road trip out west,” she said. “We camped, toured and visited friends. I realized how much there really was to see and do in the United States. Truly a once in a lifetime adventure.”
But there are so many different places in the United States. How do you pick and choose?
“I love to visit popular historic sites and State and National Parks. I’ll admit I love a good ‘tourist trap’ too,” Malanowski said. “However, my favorite places to visit are off the beaten path, ‘mom and pop’ restaurants and local art and crafts.”
She has traveled with friends, family and even alone.
“I wish my mom (Maryann) was with me on every trip,” she said.
One of her favorite trips was to Maine, specifically Acadia National Park.
She also enjoyed the gulf shore in Alabama.
“Relaxing and beautiful beaches,” she remembered.
Where does North Dakota fit in to the mix?
