Scholarships are available
Announcement at Prairie Hills Banquet

The deadline is March 27 for applications to be completed for several area scholarships. The scholarships are for area high school seniors.
Announcement of recipients will be at the Prairie Hills Scholastic Banquet. More than $5,000 in scholarships will be presented at the organization’s April 27 event.
This year’s banquet is open to Garrison, White Shield, Max and North Shore (Makoti) students. Scholarships will be presented to those students, as well as to scholarship recipients from Washburn, Wilton, Underwood and Turtle Lake-Mercer.
Students may apply at (www.garrisonnd.com/prairiehills ), or through each school’s guidance counselor.
Scholarships available:
The Harold Klabunde and Kenneth Fitzsimonds Scholarship is offered to any young man or woman who is graduating from high school and is interested in pursuing a career in some field of aviation. Students from Garrison, Turtle Lake, Underwood, Washburn, Wilton, White Shield, North Shore and Max may apply. This is a $500 scholarship.
The Clyde Ziegler and Francine Leonard Eastern Star Scholarships are available to students of Garrison, White Shield, North Shore and Max. The Clyde Ziegler Scholarship is for males; the Eastern Star Scholarship is for females. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
