Science Fair’s finest

“That’s so cool” was heard more than once throughout the gymnasium.
Bob Callies Elementary School in Garrison held their annual Science Fair on March 15, one day later than expected as an ice storm rolled through McLean County and pushed it back a day.
This is an annual event at the elementary that kids look forward to all year.
Sixth grader August Majeres, has part of the Science Fair for four years.
“It gives me something to do and helps me learn,” said Majeres. “It also helps with my science grade.”
Approximately 50 groups signed up to participate, either in singles or two person “teams.”
