Sheriff’s office seeking information on Max burglary
MAX — Sometime in the early morning hours of July 4, the Max Café and Southside Lounge were broken into.
According to Detective Bradley Nielsen with the McLean County Sheriff’s Office, a burglar broke into the Max Cafe through a broken window at around 3 a.m. on July 4. While it “took a while to get in,” the burglar was in the cafe and the connecting Southside Lounge for about a half hour, during which time, the burglar took an unspecified amount of cash from the premises.
