Annual Dickens Village Festival comes to a close
GARRISON — It's a wrap for the 29th annual Dickens Village Festival. The third and final weekend for the annual festival came to a
close on Saturday after the 7:30 p.m. performance of A Christmas Carol at the KOTA Theatre, which was “just under” to being sold out, said McKaila Behles, a member of the festival planning committee. “I thought it was a fantastic weekend,” Behles said. “It was so exciting to see all the people in town, especially so many families and large groups of people. It seems to me more people are using this as their tradition or even their trip to come out with family. We weren’t just seeing two people. We were seeing ten, eleven … groups of people. It’s
fantastic to see people make it their annual tradition.”
