Stroup Wilderness Park vandals sign confessions

Stroup Wilderness Park vandals sign confessions
McLean County law enforcement officials say that two youth have signed confessions, saying they were the ones involved in acts of vandalism at Garrison’s Stroup Wilderness Park in late July.
Sheriff Don Charging said the two, both 17, have been referred to juvenile services.
Authorities had been looking locally for a person(s) of interest in the case, but through information given to law enforcement, were led to question an individual in Milnor, a community of about 700 in southeast North Dakota. The youth and an accomplice signed confessions a short time later. Both youth periodically lived in Garrison. One also resided the remainder of the time in the Roseglen area, the other part time in Milnor.
