Sugar Shack finds a home
Fort Stevenson State Park held its annual Maple Sugaring Day on Saturday.
Visitors to the park could take in some music from the Mooncats, grab some pancakes and visit the Sugar Shack and see how maple syrup is made.
“(We were) very happy with the event,” FSSP Manager Chad Trautman said. “(We) had great turnout for both maple sugaring and our Sap Run 5K.”
New this year was a colorful barrel train for the kids to ride about and check out the sites.
