It’s a sight that hasn’t been seen since Boeing was in the area installing missile sites in the early 60s. The sight is a full Northview Trailer Court.
“Every spot has been taken,” said Maintenance Supervisor Alan Beyreis.
At the Sept. 6 meeting, Garrison City Council members heard with the upturn in activity, electrical upgrades are needed. Beyreis said a contractor would be contacted to complete the work, and that the work should be completed as soon as possible to accommodate tenants.
Auditor Diane Affeldt said a majority of the new tenants are Minot flood victims. In the RV section, tenants include FEMA workers, contractors, harvesters and flood victims.
Street repairs are complete for the year. Beyreis said officials with Bechtold Paving, Minot, recommend to city officials that a number of streets should receive an overlay as deterioration is growing. Beyreis shared that overlay costs are more cost effective than patching.
