Two youth attend Youth Indian Police Academy
GARRISON - In April of this year, Brittney Halsey saw an advertisement on Facebook about an opportunity for a Youth Indian Police Academy to be held at the Riverside Indian School in Oklahoma being put on for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Bureau of Indian Education. She had seen that same post a few times over the last few years
Being a former Federal Police Officer for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Standing Rock Agency herself, it caught her eye again and decided this was the year to bring it up to her son.
