US 83/ND 23 alternative presented to public
The North Dakota Department of Transportation hosted a meeting regarding the US 83/ND 23 interchange on March 31 at the Max Civic Center.
During the first week of December 2023, a similar meeting was held presenting the option of adding two roundabouts to the to the intersection.
The crowd was not on-board with this option and asked for a few more ideas.
During that December 2023 meeting the question was asked, “Why a roundabout versus an overpass?”
NDDOT finished the meeting stating they would go back to the drawing board and bring a few new options to the public to consider.
March 31, three new alternatives, along with the roundabout option were presented by Sara Cahlin, Professional Engineer from NDDOT.
