Garrison City Council members say they plan to contact county E-911 representatives to see what can be done, if anything, when it comes to changing street numbers in Aero Industrial Park in west Garrison.
“It’s time we do something out there and the more development, the more we’ll have problems with that,” said Doug Steinmetz, property owner in Aero Park.
According to those attending the council meeting, the present addressing system creates confusion, not only with the Postal Service and delivery services but with people who visit residents.
“It needs to be simplified,” added Terri Crawford. “Especially in an emergency situation.”
