Who's job is it anyway?

“If I ever have to clean up after the Governor’s Cup again I will not work here.”
Those are the words of Garrison Parks and Rec Department’s Maintenance Supervisor Sandy Crawford at last week’s board meeting.
The board addressed the mess in the city park following Governor’s Cup derby weekend, saying it’s had enough.
As the public bathrooms were overflowing, the person in charge of them, American Legion’s Karen Meier, was reportedly nearby having a rummage sale. Crawford said Meier forwarded all calls to the park board saying the bathrooms were not their problem.
However, the contract signed by Meier said otherwise.
“On the piece of paper we have for park use, contact Karen Meier if you need assistance with the restrooms,” Crawford said, holding the contract.
