Construction of The Meadows, 18-unit assisted living facility in Garrison, was scheduled to begin Wednesday of this week after official ground-breaking at the site Monday afternoon.
Equipment and crews of Cofell Plumbing, Heating & Excavating, Inc., of Bismarck and JEM Construction of Mandan were expected to be on the site for the initial contracts, site utilities and earth work, respectively, at mid-week.

Theft victims speak out
