Garrison board OK’s open enrollment
The Garrison School Board has lifted its freeze on open enrollment.

Brannan announces retirement
A 12-year run as Garrison’s top administrator will come to an end June 30. Superintendent Steve Brannan has announced his retirement. School officials and board members learned of Brannan’s plans this past week.
Garrison bond issue fails
Patrons of the Garrison School District have spoken loud and clear – there will be no $5.9 million worth of construction/remodeling at the high school or elementary school.
Scholarships are available
The deadline is March 27 for applications to be completed for several area scholarships.
County schools not in favor of concealed carry bill
If a bill that was recently approved by the North Dakota House of Representatives (HB1215) passes through the Senate, and then is signed by the governor, the bill would allow people with a Class I concealed carry permit to have a gun on school grounds, if approved by the local school board.
