Thursday will be the last day of business for owner Mike Rud of the Garrison Bay Express. While the name will stay the same, come Friday, the business, located on Highway 37, will be under new ownership.

Three children and their grandmother were murdered in New Town on Sunday afternoon. A New Town man who committed suicide in Parshall that evening is alleged to be the killer.

Bond election costs explained
When Garrison voters head to the polls Nov. 13, they will be voting on a $9 million school bond issue. If it passes by more than the required 60 percent majority, taxpayers will see higher taxes beginning in 2013 on their homes and property.
